About RChecker
RChecker - a Rust player check without scattering across chats and tabs.
A normal check quickly turns into noise. A Steam ID gets dropped into chat, someone remembers an old ban, the player waits, and the moderator looks for links, old bans, and other accounts owned by the same player.
RChecker is for that exact moment. The moderator creates a check, the player opens the checker client, and RChecker gathers Steam accounts, RustApp bans, status, and player info in one place.
What happens during a check
1.Starting the player check
The moderator pastes a Steam ID or profile link, confirms the Steam account, and writes why the check is needed.
2.Player opens the checker client
The checker client finds the pending check and sends the Steam ID, found Steam accounts, nicknames, and activity time.
3.Moderator reads the information
The moderator sees the client report, found accounts, old links, RustApp data, and player history.
4.Finishing the check
The moderator sees the data in one place, makes a decision, and can block selected linked accounts with proof when needed.
Where it helps
Fresh account after bans
Someone joins right after their main account was banned. The team checks whether the new Steam account is linked to the already banned player.
An appeal needs context
Instead of old chat messages, staff open account history, linked accounts, previous checks, RustApp bans, and the report that led to the decision.
One interface
Data from several services, bans, checks, and player stats are in one place. Moderators do not switch between a dozen services or waste their time.
FAQ
Does RustApp integration require RustApp Plus?
Yes. RustApp integration needs a RustApp Plus or Pro subscription. Without it, server player info and the RustApp cross-server ban list are unavailable.
What information is available without RustApp?
RChecker still shows client report data, found Steam accounts, project history, and moderator notes. RustApp server data and cross-server bans stay unavailable.
Who can see gathered player information?
Player information is scoped to the project where the check happened. Only that project's staff can access it. Future cross-project visibility will be optional and controlled by projects that choose to share it.
Does RChecker ban accounts automatically?
No. Moderators review the data and can block selected linked accounts with proof when needed.
